THat's still quite an achievement, though, as the closest non-Nintendo handheld was the Game Gear at around 11 million.


But how much was it bought for games? I don't buy the piracy argument so much as it just seems that people instead bought it as just another take on the iPod. I don't think that the number of pirates are that great, its just the number of people who actually buy it for games is that small. Its quite a decent little portable media player or so I hear. I may be wrong but I see it as more a Zune/Ipod competitor rather than a DS competitor.
