To explain a little more behind the idea - there are a lot of gamers out there at the moment who simply think "VGChartz - yeah they do the sales charts" and don't realise we have a team of reviewers or a game database or an active editorial team. The idea is to give the non-charts sections a more general appeal. New users are more likely to come and read a blog called VGInformer than VGChartz News. It's a branding thing - I want the new sites to appeal to those who aren't interested in sales figures as well as those that are so they can grow and pick up fans on their own merit and the quality of our editorial team. |
