i think with GOW3 and GT5 coming up, it may boost console sales for a few weeks again, but until then it is going to some nail biting stuff lol
For Jap sales to remain high, Sony has to bring out a new game that will get Jap sales up again. Maybe a ffIV, maybe Last guardian, maybe Yakuza 4, maybe Dark Cloud or sumthing. Maybe the PS wand thingy might boost PS3 sales, maybe I am totally wrong :S
