We sit in glorious times, gentlemen. Nintendo seems to be regaining the zest for multifarious development and publishing that they charged into this generation with, the zest that made them kings of our time. It started, i suppose, with NSMBWii, but that was merely the tip of the iceberg, the dynamite-injected tip that they are using to apparently charge into another one-plus years of gaming awesomeness for everyone.

They set their sights on the upmarket with Metroid: Other M, with Super Mario Galaxy 2. They're back in the JRPG department with a very strong hand for this year (Xenoblade and Last Story). They have conquered the middle market with NSMBWii, and the downmarket is going to see new depths (being a good thing) with Wii Relax. Rumors of new Kirby and a whole new generation of Pokemon are surfacing, Miyamoto is apparently developing not one, but *two* groundbreaking efforts for DS, and they're still cooking up that holy grail of motion gaming: Zelda Wii.

Happy days.
