So in VGC 3.0 there will be four distinct sites - each with their own layouts but all linked to one another. The idea is that existing users will still be able to jump from section to section and do what they want, but for new users the site will be much easier to navigate and different areas of the site will appeal to different people - a lot of people who currently aren't interested in sales figures are put off VGChartz since they don't know we do reviews, news, videos etc. Each site will have a dedicated manager and will be allowed to grow in its own right. For an idea of how the sites will still be linked, look at Eurogamer / Eurogamer TV / Eurogamers or 1up / MyCheats / GameVideos or VideoGamesDaily / FPS Gamer / LevelSkip etc - what will effectively happen is that we will form the "VGChartz network" and each site will be part of the network. As with everything we do, I wanted to open it up to the community so that you know what to expect and also to ask for help - we have some ideas for names for each section but would like to hear your ideas. One train of thought is to use the VGC brand and have VGC News, VGC Games or whatever, but that seems a little dull. Obviously there is VGNewz, VGReviewz etc but again I'm not a fan. I'd actually like to go for totally original names - something unique and memorable, especially for the blog.
