Nice theory and false, too. A colleague of mine has a 2GByte video card (NOT 2 1G cards in parallel) and still sees over 3G ram. Video ram adressing is not as simple as you seem to think. But besides that, if you have a system that supports more than 4G of ram (pretty much everything sold now), go with 64 bits.
