I agree with you. I'm so sick of developers always believing that a game can only be good if it has multiplayer. Personally, I care more about a game's single player campaign.

Capcom may have ruined the Resident Evil series when they gave RE5 a multiplayer component, and I don't have high expectations for Dead Space 2's multiplayer.

Add me to this. I don't know why is there so much MP craze going on this gen. Seems like that every game, in order to be trully succesful has to have MP tacked to it. 

Due to this, very few games have had a really awesome SP experience. Heck, my favourite game this gen, Demon's Souls, is known for it's online capabilities, yet i've only played it SP, since it's the best way to play it. I don't really care much for MP, games can be just as fun in SP, as long as the developers make full use of the experience.
