Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes and yes!
It's annoying having to look at all the different versions of multi-plat games and add up the numbers to find out how many copies they've sold, and you can never get the same visual impact from doing that that you'd be able to get from seeing the higher total sales. Doing this would make it easier to see which games are really the most popular out there.
