Completely agree with you. While I don't usually care for anything, sales wise, I got to agree that the effect of hype in it is very little. Ultimately, people will buy what they feel like to buy, and this is were marketing has the biggest role possible for any game to be succesful.
Bioshock 2 will be a very succesful game, especially that now it has MP, which is a major incentive for buying a game this generation.
Me, i'll play it SP, i'm not a very console MP oriented person.
