Yeah its a bit of a chip, but because they can I guess. I live in Australia where all new games have traditionally cost $99.95 (sux when us is $50 and the exchange rate is Aus$0.90 to us$1) but recently some major retailers have lowered to ~$80 and $40-$60 for budget and old games. While I think ps3 and 360 games still cost $100 or sometimes even $100.
