Here in the UK Wii games are definitely much cheaper than PS3 and 360 games. I get my games from Asda (Walmart's UK shop) and Wii games never cost more than £32 while 360 and PS3 games cost £40 and over.
As for why Wii itself costs so much it's cause it's still selling so well so despite price drops for 360 & PS3 there's been no need to drop the price of Wii. When Wii sales start to drop then we can expect a price drop. Which means it will probably drop in Japan way before it does in US.
