Wouldn't surprise me if at least the 360's successor has some manner of blocking second-hand sales where by you need to link a disc to your console, or Live account, and always be connected to play.  Microsoft always seems to be the forerunner in all things involving limiting and milking gamers. =

With all the failure rate around these days, I would honestly laugh my ass of, if you really needed to link the disc to your console. Account can be the choice, but imagine if you'd get banned and lost access to your whole game collection. And these things do happen.
