There is always competition! Imagine if Halo 3 launched in November. Would any xbox owner buy Cod4 or Assassins Creed? No way! It would have completely cannibalized all their sales. Thats why they didnt launch in Nov. Only a hand full of games can compete head on with Halo and those games are not it. |
But Grand Theft Auto IV is one of those that can compete with H3. That is my main concern for long range sales for H3 in America. |

How are they competing when they are gonna be released almost a year apart. By the time GTA 4 comes out, Halo 3 will have done 70%- 80% of its life time sales. |
well it will kinda compete,when a casual will buy 360 he will choose one of the games and the other will get forgotten |
Halo 3 wont be forgotton. Gears of War is not forgotten because of Halo 3. In fact they help each other. The same Halo 3 owner will probably buy GTA 4.
