Do they have exclusive rights to the license? They can't own the Acclaim games, can they?

I just looked it up on Wikipedia, and although our database just says Touchstone, the actual publisher was Touchstone Pictures, the film company.  Touchstone is owned by Disney, so it seems that Disney currently own the rights.
