@dolemit

they cut it by £50.... thats $82

LMAO! I remember at the time of the price cut you were saying it wouldn't make much difference because shops were already selling the PS3 below the RRP, so it was hardly a price cut at all. Now you are trying to make the price cut sound as big as possible by converting it into dollars...

That made you laugh your ass off?  wow.... with that profile pic I would have thought you had better comedy thresholds than that....

Anyway, I was answering a question... I wasnt trying to make anything out.

But...... seeing as you brought it up... 360 v PS3 in UK

UK gap September 5th: 1.42m

UK gap January 16th: 1.43m

And since 8th November 360>PS3

If I was a bit younger and less mature I think this is where I say OWNED!

It had a one and a half year head start

more than a year actually ps3 was launched in march.

yeah that why he said 1 and a half years... ???  but I refer you to my earlier answer... so what?

your post kinda makes no sense what so ever either, kinda microsoft sold more console than sony because sony wasn't selling theirs yet,

but then now sony passed microsoft total europe even with the year and half head start.

UK price cut was one of the smallest, even was not felt by the population, in the end retailers sold it for the same.
