Pachter has some sort of Wii HD fetish. He has been predicting it since at least mid 2007, when the Wii was less than a year old. At that time, he expected it to be on shelves in 2009. Oops, got that wrong. He quietly shifted his prediction to 2010 later.
This is just a wild guess. It is not based on any insider knowledge of the industry, it is just a guess, and a bad one at that.
