 Actually, the PS2 has outsold the GBA by 5 million over the long haul. But launches aligned, the GBA had outsold the PS2 by one million at this many weeks in the game. The DS has outsold the PS2 by 7 million.  So it's safe to say that the DS will definately blow past the PS2 over time. How much time? Hell, the way things are going, maybe a year and a bit.

By my estimation the DS will surprass the PS2 in Japan by November. Five million units away approxiamately, and selling just under a million month would make it about 6 months until it happens. Even if sales slow down though it'll happen during the December holiday season for sure.
