No. The arcade version of Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion was released in Japan on December 18th 2008. What got released in November 2009 is the port of Bloodline Rebellion, not the original Tekken 6. You can't expect Namco to be able to port the game to even a single console in time for Christmas when they had 7 days to do so. Considering this gave them time to make a near simultaneous PSP release also, shouldn't that also get partial blame in your scenario? |
I never saw a point in removing "Bloodline Rebellion" from the title. It's like they wanted to cause confusion. The PSP version should have simply been "Tekken: Bloodline Rebellion". Some people even mistaked the console version as the original "Tekken 6" and there was "another" Tekken 6 coming out sometime this year for consoles called "Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion".. Which, in turn, could have made namco loose a few sales.
I thought it was already said that the arcade version looks superior to the console versions anyway? With PS3 looking the worst (lol).. I want to see a game that pushes each system to their respective limits... probably wont happen with a fighter, but, it would be nice to see. They could even use that goal as an advertising theme to boost sales... And lots of people would even have an excuse to buy 2+ versions of the same game.
