Well, I agree the DS is mostly ignored on this forum, but people certainly hype games months and months away. Examples: SSBB, MGS4, FFXII (more like 2 years for this one), No More Heroes, etc. Lots of games get attention on all platforms on this site except for handhelds.

There are only 10 or so people who even bother trying to get information out about handheld games and the other forum members seem to view PSP and DS games with apathy, as if the systems are incapable of delivering the fun they get out of their home consoles. It's too bad, because the handhelds have so much to offer this generation. Especially for RPG fans.

Honestly, a lot of the time, I prefer handhelds over console games. I don't know why, I just get more immersed (engaged, maybe?) in/with them. And being a huge fan of Tales games (Symphonia's amazing, and, Abyss's main character is a red-headed guy named Luke...like me) and the DS, I'm Really pumped about this game.
