that reminds me of what paper Paper mario sort of did, that game portrayed bowser in a rather comic way, with less seriousness and intensity.

i don't like the thought of ganon losing that evil precence he has and being less wrathful. Imagine him helping Link and them working together, not exactly someone I'd call "The King of Evil" (that's Gonon's title if you're wondering)

I don't mean helping Link in a handholding sort of way. More like inadvertently helping him. For instance if their is a New Bad Guy, Ganon is committing his troops to fight him, allowing Link a mechanism to infiltrate its fortress or something.

If you reverse this - Evil General helps Link attack Ganondorf's fortress - it'd be cool as Hell
