i bought the ps and ps2 pretty close to launch.
the ps3's price scared me so i got the 60 gb when they announced that it was going to be discontinued... and they lopped off a huge chunk of the price. i still got it first any of the other consoles this gen.
[Edit] sorry, back to the post. so, like the ps3 generation - i'll get it after the first price drop or a bit more unless there is an incredible game that i must have. it will be the first console i purchase for the next generation.
i am a sony fanboy.
