I completely agree. However CGI is right in that it is subjective but the way you have broken it down makes sense and very hard to argue with. I do agree that games like Uncharted have lacked certain things that would make it more commercial friendly but to say it doesn't deserve to sell 5 million is completely subjective. The game may infect reach 5 million, but it definitely could have done more to reach a higher sales status but instead Naughty Dog/Sony decided not to do them while Bungie/MS has done them.

Comparing tps to fps is pointless.

360 sales show the top tps shooters sales capability are about half of a top fps.

I don't think I am particularly trying to compare the sales of FPS compared to TPS. What I am comparing is the willingness to add commercial friendly features to increase sales for a particular game. I'm saying(as I suppose William is saying as well) that Naughty Dog could have done more to increase Uncharted's appeal and sales to the market. Things that Bungie hasn't hesitated to do such as the local multiplayer and the ability to split screen online. I believe Gears has also done this and look at it's sales compared to Uncharted if you insist on keeping it genre neutral. I'm not saying Uncharted could sell more if they did these things or even sell more than Gears but I do believe they are things that would have increased the sales of what Uncharted 2 is and will become.

I would recognize that Naughty Dog has made some steps to make U2 much more commercial friendly than U1 such as including online multiplayer and making explosions bigger and giving it a more WOW factor(to the detriment of the feel and storyline of single player, but that's just my personal preference). However it could have done more to increase this commercial appeal which it decided not to do.
