Well it depends what you liked about Valkyria, if you enjoyed the focus on strategy and don't need amazing graphics then I would suggest Disgaea 3, it has a hilarious story that does well never taking itself seriously.
The PS3 version of the RPGs you mentioned all have extra content so I would go with the PS3 version if you have choice.
If you want an Action oriented RPG I would suggest Demon's Souls over Folklore, though the story in Folklore is better Demon's Souls is a better overall game.
