Though its to be expected for sequels to be more frontloaded... 160,000+ difference is going to be tough to make up.

Want to make a bet? I bet ME2 will have higher sales than MAG after 3 months. The difference will be > 200k

There is no way that MAG can take on Mass Effect saleswise. MAG is gonna be frontloaded like hell. It is a shooter for the very hardcore gamer and it had a HUGE beta.

 

Haha, more like 2m! MAG is not going to cross 1m, ME 2 should sell over 2.5m
