okay, lol, I just post whatever, I couldnt care less about grammar, this isnt exactly academia here, its a video game forum not a thesis for a masters degree

I didn't realise that the sole intention of grammar was to be a determinant between what is, or isn't, a thesis.

im assuming you understood the context of my post, im not saying that, what im saying is that having good grammar on an internet forum is not neccessary nor particularly important, certainly not compared to a thesis for example.

I don't understand that point at all. If you make an effort to write correctly on an Internet forum then when the times comes to write something official you will have developed good writing habits which will reduce the number of mistakes you make.

meh, I can write fine for college stuff, I just dont particularly care about my grammar or other peoples on the internet, it just doesnt matter as much, interesting as the internet may be at times, im not gonna put the same effort in to most of my posts as I would an essay for college, nor would I expect others to do so, especially considering that some people on the internet have english as a second language, to expect high standards of grammar on the web and to then critique it just makes me think people are being elitist and stuck up about something that really doesnt matter much in the grand scheme of things, probably not in there lives either, unless you think that what you post in this thread is more important than what you write in an essay for college or your work?
