I think that people are a lot more fair minded than some posters think. Sure sometimes it may seen that this site tends to one side, but it shifts and flows. The most important thing is to give credit to where it is due.

I knew that ME2 would have more votes than FFXIII, for all the reasons that I listed at the start of the thread. Had this been the past two generations, things could have been different, but this gen, at least in home consoles, WRPG have had more quality than FFXIII, so people are putting more faith in them.

Plus, ME2 also didn't have the backlash and some personal vendettas that arose in this site to try and convice people that somehow FFXIII is a bad game, when all the people who have played it have said other wise. Unfortunately that has had some effect on people too.

Anyway, it's great that this two awesome games are getting so many recognition in this site, and that's all that matters in the end ;)

It's funny, but I think Final Fantasy will be a quality JRPG as opposed to others and I am definitely willing to give it the benefit of the doubt over Lost Odyssey (which is crazy this gen). I have to admit, but Lost Odyssey is the only game that actually forced me to shed a tear in a certain scene. Looking at the videos gave me that same old feeling, but I am leaving to hope that practice beats out watching from a distance. As for Mass Effect 2, that game is becoming so popular it has a 4 part documentary on the Scifi channel. That.....is....crazy. As far as other people are concerned on the "PS3 Only" side of the tracks, their change of heart to Mass Effect 2 from older comments is a surprise to say the least. This post truly surprised me. I remember when Mass Effect threads were up it was only a handful of us supporting the thread and sometimes you had your lovers, but some haters came in and were drowned out by us because this Triology to us is just the definition of epic.
