If Nolan manages to do what Bruce Campbell does, then it will work. Have to be concerned if they game companies demand he use the same voice over and over... because it is what gamers want.
The industry fails to realize gamers want to be entertained, and that involves giving gamers something new, and having a degree of novelty. To beat something to death is NOT how you entertain. Example of that was doing WWII shooters. You knew there was problems when even Midway jumped into the act and decided it needed a WWII FPS franchise... of course, that title sucked.
I will predict there is a decent chance of "Nolan North" becoming like "Jumping the shark" as a term, in that it represents an industry beating something to death. "Going North" anyone? If not this, Nolan North ends up being the patron saint of an industry beating something to death to where you hate it, the way, Ted McGilney is connected with TV shows "Jumping the shark".
