They should've price dropped alongside the slim, in time for their major software revival last year (GT, Soulcalibur, LBP, Dissidia, Motorstorm, etc). A $149 or even $129 PSP-3000 might've been able to at least sustain previous US sales and maybe all those AAA games wouldn't have bombed. Next year it may be too late, but they probably have at least one last 2nd shot this summer (with MGS PW, KH BBS, Valkyria 2, MH Village, etc, releasing).
GO was laughably overpriced too (should've been $199 at most), but retail was going to make sure that model died no matter what.
