If you like living in the past then so be it, Ive been playing with a controller for almost 30 years and the main thing during this time has been better graphics and thats so old now. I have eagerly been awaiting the Wii since Nintendo announced their work on the revolution project (the wii) in the mid 90´s and its finally here and it pisses me of that i have to wait even longer to play the games that benefit the most from the wii mote wich in this case would be FPS games. |
I've been playing with a controller as well for over 20 years now and I still enjoy it. I'm not living in the past, I am just sticking with what I enjoy, plain and simple. I play mainly RPG titles and I see zero advantage of playing with a Wiimote/Wand as opposed to a standard controller.
Of course our tastes differ, which is perfectly normal.
Maybe if these Wii owners bought Metroid Prime more than they did when it was released years ago third parties would have made them since they would have seen a big audience for it, but unfortunately they didn't. Instead they saw that more people clearly prefer to play FPS on a console with a standard controller.
Not trying to tell you jump ship, but we all know the PS3 will continue to get FPS games, not just from 3rd parties, but from Sony themselves. These future titles will not doubt feature support for their wand, so if you want them that bad you will know where to find them.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
