No matter how much people complain these companies will make what they want for whatever console(s) they want. End of story really.
If I was a developer I would make what I want to make for whatever I want to make it for. I wouldn't change my vision just because people ask me to. I know what I like to make and I know what I am good at.
Who knows, maybe my view would bankrupt me, but is there a guarantee that doing what everyone else tells me to do would be all rainbows and butterflies?
Is there a guarantee that a $15-30M project on the Wii would bring these devs more money than a $15-30M project on the HD Twins? Am I going to spend around the same amount and then offer my game(s) for $10 less and then make the same and/or more money?
I don't know these answers, I'm not even in a proper state of mind and not even sure if my post makes any sense really.
