Like ioi said, some of the first day numbers can be very, very suspect. The fact is, everyone forgets the first day sales are not actual sales numbers, they are estimates.

And when your trying to extrapolate estimates, there can and will, always be inacuracies. It's very, very, highly doubtful that Mario & Sonic at the Olympics had a 4x+ multiplier. I'm not saying it had a bad multiplier, but that's higher than near any other game in history in Japan.

So it could be possible a game, such as Assassains Creed could of actually done 22-24k instead of "just" 20k. Likewise, I would tend to think Mario & Sonic probably did closer to 15k vs. 10k.
