Hi, I'm a videogame reviewer. And I'm here to say that this latest Wii game was clearly NOT designed for gamers. It must be made for girls and kids... maybe grandparents. Seriously, there's no combat, no story. It's all cutesy and unrefined. This game clearly wasn't made for gamers. So this gamer on a gamer review site is giving it the low score it deserves.
Meanwhile, the game gets terrific user reviews on places like amazon and good word of mouth through mainstream circles and ends up doing quite well with the expanded audience.
Look up Carnival Games on Gamerankings (59% with 24 reviews) and Amazon( 4/5 with 276 reviews) A lot of Wii games are made for different people than reviewers are reviewing games for. That's all.
