"Multiplatform" would also raise Nintendo game sales in a lot of these cases too though.  Games like Mario 3 (NES, GBA), Mario 64 (N64, DS) and Animal Crossing (N64, GC, DS, Wii) would all suddenly go over 20m in that case.  And the Pokemon expansions (Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Platinum) would add to their mainline counterparts instead of counting separately, taking R/S and D/P both over 20m as well.  In fact, it's possible Nintendo would actually net more positions in a true multiplatform top 25.

For reference, here's the top 25 "multiplatform" Nintendo games... I didn't add complete remakes (Like Fire Red / Leaf Green to RGBY) or compilations to totals (ie: Mario-All Stars to SMB1/2/3, DK Classics to DK/Jr/3, Mother 1+2, Dr. Mario + Puzzle League, etc) or "hidden" releases (ie: DK in DK64, NES games in Animal Crossing GC, etc).  I did add upgrades though (ie: Wii Fit Plus to Wii Fit, Tetris DX to Tetris, Yellow/Crystal/Emerald/Platinum to mainline Pokemon entries, etc).  This also doesn't cover digital releases or e-reader, since we have no figures there.
