As others have said it's a little melodramatic but if it wasn't would we have read it? We are a jaded bunch.
Melodrama aside I find it hard to disagree with him. I used to go to IGN at least daily for as long as I've had internet in my home, now I've been twice in the last month. It's not that I'm offended by the comments of an idiot like Hatfield, it's just that I find little that draws me there any more. I still love games though.
