Actually, the Virtua Cop and HotD games were pretty popular back on Saturn/DC as well. Really, it was mainly last gen where the genre receded. More Famitsu!

...also, the GunSurvivor games were playable on DualShocks, and generally preferred that way since they had analog camera controls. They did "Guided fps" before Dead Space Extraction (lol). I'd also say there's a decent Biohazard base on Wii already too considering how well the crusty old GC ports sold. It's not just the lightgunners that sold better than expected...
