Well, there's already the Resident Evil 5: Alternate Edition which will have the player use their left hand to control half of the controller while the other hand uses the wand essentially mimicking the wii-mote and nunchuck.

As for what you were saying, it'd have to depend on the game. I'd rather not have the wand controls implemented into a game for the heck of it. In this way, I think your example with Uncharted 2 would be pointless. Maybe useful for that short time, but I'd rather see games developed with the hardware in mind and not feel like a pointless toss in or plain poor implementation like we've seen with the Sixaxis/Dualshock 3 motion controls in many games.
