You need to clarify more clearly on the context on some of the statements, for one Capcom said they'll focus on releasing fewer but higher quality games on the Wii which means less ports and dmakes, Sega made comments but some of the titles they only published not developed outside HOTD what have they really done to push the envelope development wise for the Wii. Namco seem determined to grab the rpg throne for the Wii as they have quite few lined up and the's no main line FF game to trouble them in fact until DQX arrives they don't have to worry about Square Enix at all while Konami tbh have been quiet through out this gen on all platforms.
If we were to really look at who matters the most development wise it would Ubisoft, Capcom and Namco while Sega are good publishers for the Wii, throughout the past 3 years it's mainly been these four as third parties who have stuck around and it doesn't look like they're going anywhere tbh despite any comments the lure of trying to break into this userbase is too much.
