Can't really say. It's pretty obvious FF XIII Wii would of sold more in Japan.

However for the west.... it depends how big of a western hit it is... on the 360... I'd say.

Higher userbase doesn't always equate to higher sales. Perhaps that would be the case if FF13 was announced as a wii game from the start but even then, I doubt it because FFXIII sold pretty similar to its previous iterations on ps3s meager userbase alone.

No, but it would for a huge game like FFXIII.

Afterall, the games didn't reach the PS3 iterations when this before has been a series systems are bought for.  Not only would it of sold more, it prolly would of boosted Wii sales more.

I think Jarrod and I have already gone through a number of loops concerning this. Please read my ther posts.

You went in a circle, though it was an incorrect circle.

Take a look at multiplat games.

Look at the difference between Modern Warfare 2 PS3 and 360.

Why did it sell so much more on 360 then PS3?  Bigger userbase.

If Modern Warfare was a PS3 exclusive would it have sold as much as the 360 version did?  Unlikely.

If Modern Warfare was a 360 exclusive it likely woudl of sold even more then it has.

Userbase matters most on the extremes.  With games that want to sell multi-millions and games that want to sell small amounts.  Your low budget games.

Hence why it matters whether in the West FF sells 2-3 million or 4-5 million.

Whether the extra 360 userbase can push copies sold into that "superstar" range based on "attach rate."
