I like how easily you can pick and choose trackers. I personally will always defer to NPD where possible, I just think the higher coverage will yield more accurate results. I think VGC's important too though, and I think their visibility and transparency is key, even if they do comparably have a bit of a record of overtracking the little guys. I'd love to hear your reasoning for going with VGC on Valkyria, yet not for PS2 though?
ioi said he's happy enough, though admitted overtracking is definitely possible. He originally attributed higher VGC figures to brisker Wal-mart sales recently, to which I pointed out they don't even stock the title nationwide anymore (and it's completely unavailable online). It happened in last month's NPD thread, probably near the end.
At the end of the day though, if the game had the game even shipped over 500k total, I think we'd have at least heard about it by now. Sega's silence is pretty telling imo.
