Where are the hard drives, or optical drives that can read that fast? And where is the storage medium to store 500 GB per hour of movies?

 

 

Some SSD are that fast. But they are usually small, like 250 GB max and are pretty expensive. Good for OS and programs, but for movies...

You are right, nearly nobody use uncompresed video nowadays.
