As PC is an option (even though it's not a console) then there really is no contest. Anyone that doesn't select PC really hasn't got a clue (no offense guys :P). PC games have always had more options (controls, graphics, physics, hardware), genres (including some niche genres you just wouldn't get on consoles), better graphics etc. Many console games out today are refined and scaled down versions of previous PC titles.
PC gamers also have to be more devoted to gaming; they have control over their hardware, they have to tinker with settings, they have to figure stuff out when it goes wrong, they're the ones that optimise the hardware. Console gaming in general is designed to be an easier and refined experience.
It also has the largest back catalogue of games and can emulate most consoles from previous gens, so if you truly want to play games, PC offers the largest and most diverse array of titles. What's more, is that future devs are being made on PC al the time with indie games really becomming successful on PC now with digital distribution such as Steam.
As someone mentioned above though, if you're truly hardcore... you have them all :P
