If you agree with the article and you liked it, that's fine. The article sucks. The guy is clearly butthurt (for w/e reason) and he doesn't even give a good point like you said. He goes on to say all this BS.

Who is this guy to decide that Mario is less fun than X game? If the game has already sold 10 million copies is for a reason... that's what people like. If people like the same game over and over with little change, what's the problem? If people loved NSMB DS, and they love NSMBWii... what's the problem with that? I often saw on IGN that Nintendo is keeping the same formula, that they needed to change it... but then, on the GoWII review, they say "is the same as GoW... but, why are they going to change something that doesn't need to be change? It's fine as it is"
Well.... why are they going to change something that works? Same with the ps3 controller... is the exact same thing as the ps1 and ps2 controller, do they need to change it? Not really.

Ign is so full of it... they say something one day, and at the next day they just give a total different opinion just b/c they want to hate on the wii.... it is what it is. Maybe NSMBWii didn't add too much, but more than 10 million people have already bought the game, so Nintendo knows what people want =)

my deal is that i do agree with the editorial, and i am not attacking anyone, i am just defending the article because i believe it makes a good point, it doesnt matter if the mario game is the funnest game in the world, it still lacks in the fact that ninty played it safe....im not attacking anyone but making a stand on my point and backing it up...its simply debating nothing more, i dont think i offended anyone or attacked them in any way...but everyone is def. attacking the article, which happens to have a point i agree with....tell me...if you posted an article you agreed with, and everyone called it shxt and didnt agree with it at all, would you not try and defend it? yeah they ninty knows what people want and they abuse it with games like nsmb imo

Not really. If someone doesn't agree with what I agree, well too bad. Everyone has a different opinion. Ninty didn't play it safe. They delivered. They gave what people wanted, hence the great sales for the game. The game doesn't need online (plus, imo, local multiplayer >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>online) Nintendo knows what people want, and that's what the give. That;s why you see a lot of Nintendo games hitting 10 Million copies sold.
