This entire exercise really makes me *appreciate* publishers a lot more - there is a heap of work that goes into promoting a game (esp. a new one!). it looks like wiiware games tend to have long legs anyway. old stuff like world of goo, defend the castle, my life as a king, ect are still on the popular charts (or at least some of them before the demo's came out to hog the top 5 spots.). they could be selling decently for months or years to come.
come try out the computer game i've been working on for my high school senior project, titled sling ball. http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=76669&page=1
