Statistical Ties? Do they really matter?

If our numbers say it sold 150,000, it doesn't mean that literally 150,000 copies were sold, it's just a ballpark figure. It could be 140-160k. So, if two games sold close enough to one another, we call it a 'statistical tie' because we can't say for sure which one sold more.
