Art assets ready to be used for something? Perhaps, but not an entirely different FF game in an entirely different universe. So, no they shouldn't.
And these two games have been simultaneously developed so you can't just take pieces from one and throw into the other, it'd be like jumbling two puzzles together, you might be able to cram the pieces together and make some form of picture but it sure will look weird!
