When I saw the stuff being done with the Wii, I ended up saying to myself, "That looks like fun". Stuff like Wii Sports boxing (didn't work that well) and bowling (worked well), Resort sword fighting, Super Mario Wii, Wii Punch Out, and Super Mario Galaxy all had me saying this. Anyone else here see some of the Wii stuff and get the first impression that it looked like fun? Anyone else here say the same, or think the same?
I also bring this up, because is it entirely possible the Wii is doing what it is doing, because large numbers of people see something the Wii does, and it piques their interest? Not saying the stuff long-term people think the same. But, on the surface, the games have an appeal that sells itself on the surface.
Anyone have any comments regarding this?
