I'm really mixed. On one hand Ubi has published some real trash on the other hand I'm having GC 2004 flashbacks where 3rd parties ran for the hills leaving my favorite purple lunchbox as a Nintendo machine only.
On on hand a few HD flops can kill you, and dev costs are insane. On the other hand a decent number of great Wii games go off and die. Between half-witted developers, and a fickle Wii base, I'm losing my faith in console gaming in general.
Those who are predicting another 80's style crash are right on. Everybody is losing money, and they clearly have no clue how to turn that around. Sometimes a fresh start is the best way to repair a critically broken industry. If I were a shareholder in anybody but Activision or Nintendo I would be looking for somebodies head after the epic fail they have achieved this gen.
