Unlike other Western RPGs where you build a character from scratch and you give him your own motivations, the main characters in those 2 have deep rooted motivations with deep and involving storylines. Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately, I don't have a Windows machine. I only game on consoles. I got out of PC gaming in 2002 when I finally had enough of buying a game for $50 and then waiting 6 months for patches. (No offense to PC gamers, it just wasn't for me.)

Fair enough. I think there is a book adptation of Planescape if you're interested in the story (by Ray and Valerie Vallese), although it's slightly different.
