Ubisoft has made some very good games that sell well on the PS3/Xbox 360. Unfortunately, it has not brought many of these games to the Wii. Instead, it has brought a collection of less than stellar titles that are based upon other titles or lack the effort of other titles. Then it complains that these knock-offs or low-quality efforts do not sell as well as expected.
For example, there was almost market for a SSBB-like game, but Ubisoft spent millions on it anyway. That is what the third-parties do not understand about the Wii. The look-alike games do not sell as well as they have traditionally sold. Other games were niche and thus should not be expected to sell well, regardless of system.
The DS problem is one of oversaturation. In other words, how many times can you buy your daughter an Imagine game for ther DS (or Wii)?

I am Mario. I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. Wii Friend Code: 1624 6601 1126 1492 NNID: Mike_INTV |
