If it was really just a case of refining and editing the game then he shouldn't have mentioned "game volume" at all in the interview. That suggests that disk space really was a major issue and influencing factor in the decision to cut the material. I think for everyone this should be annoying because when the multiplat announcement was made Square-Enix suggested nothing would be compromised in the final edition of both versions. It seems that isn't the case and we'll probably have to pay full price for another game at a later date.
